I used to think, when I was in my 20’s, that those senior living communities were for old folks (over 55 years) and they are. People with gray hair and canes and wheel chairs and golf carts. Slower speed limits, folks lining up at the coffee shops for “Blue Bird Specials 4pm dinners. I was young at did not think about that time of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I reached 55 and then sailed past 55. Hey 55 seems YOUNG now. Time to look at life differently? These 55+ active lifestyle communities in Arizona look pretty good now. Golf is cool, golf cart driving is fun. Those coffee shop dinners with friends, recreation centers with activities, someone else takes care of the pool, doctors adn shopping nearby. Yes, I am at that traditional retirement age. My body does move slower but I believe my mind is still young.
